SPI Interface and Control | Java Graphical User Interface to USB/I2C/SPI Bridge. Free Download. | Windows Based C API for Robust Application Development. | Taking Control of I2C Devices |
DescriptionFor a detailed description, specifications and user manual see the Pyroraptor® Datasheet. Pyroraptor® is a USB to I2C/SPI/GPIO/PWM Bridge device. It supports the control of I2C and SPI devices by a Windows based PCs. Pyroraptor uses the ARM Cortex-M3 processor, specially the LPC1311/13/42/43 series System on a Chip from NXP. To support the USB to I2C/SPI/GPI/PWM bridge and provide a powerful C API for application development, the Pyroraptor uses the Diolan DLN Firmware. To get more information on the Diolan DLN device visit the Diolan Web Site here. The Pyroraptor is provided with a cable to hook up to 25mil 0.1" posts for rapid prototyping and connecting to various sensor break out boards. See here. Graphical Interface for I2C Scanning, Programming and Application Development including SPI Device InterfacingThe Open Source Free Java Graphical Interface to the Pyroraptor USB/I2C/SPI interface provides a Tab Based interface for testinfg I2C devices and also programming and interfacing to SPI devices. The Java Applications allows for scanning I2C busses and listing devices. Data can be sent to and received from each I2C device.
Graphical Interface Specifications • Scanning I2C Devices on the I2C Buss The Great Way to Get Started in I2CWe have developed a great device for getting started in I2C, the IONOTRONICS® Pot/Meter based on the 4 channel ADC and single DAC. Just connect it to the Pyroraptor® with the supplied 4 wire I2C cable. Then go to the ADC/DAC Tab and turn the dials on the potentiameter to see the Java bean meters show the position. Also using the Java interface you can move the needle on the Pot Meter. See the YouTube videos. Click here for the datasheet. See Taking Control of I2C Devices.
